Textile marking: an opportunity to create unique pieces of clothing

Customised clothing is taking on an increasingly important place in the world of textiles. Indeed, customised clothing can be used to convey promotional messages, to communicate about one’s own brand or business… This is where iron-on films come into play. These films, also known as cutting flex, offer a versatile solution for creating unique customised pieces of clothing.

Iron-on films, an ideal solution for customised clothing

At HEXIS, the range of iron-on films includes cutting flex and printable flex. We are going to concentrate on cutting flex. Cutting flex allows great precision in detail. In addition, they offer the possibility of creating unique and complex designs (logos, slogans, artistic motifs etc.). In this product family, you can choose the finish you desire from a wide range of colours.

Customised clothing with a velvet touch

If you want to create a design with a velvet feel, FLOCK200 is ideal. It is a cutting flock with a self-adhesive liner, specially designed for non-sublimated cotton and polyester. The special feature of this product is that it is PVC-free. It is perfect for customising sports tops, t-shirts, sweatshirts and also polo shirts. Its soft, velvety, slightly raised finish is perfect for creating logos, numbers or vintage-style graphics. Very much appreciated in the sporting world, it is also a safe choice for fashion items.

A matte effect for the designs of your custom fabrics

Five of our products can give a matt effect to your creations: SPEEDCUT, COLORCUT, NYLCUT, BLOCKCUT, BRICKCUT.

  • SPEEDCUT is intended for cotton, acrylic and polyester fabrics. SPEEDCUT is easy to weed and can be applied to textiles very quickly. In fact, only 5 seconds of pressing are enough, at 130°C. Designed for hot peeling, SPEEDCUT film ensures optimum processing times from one-offs to large production runs. This product is available in 33 colours and can be washed at up to 60°C.
  • COLORCUT is a product with very low adhesive liner. It has been designed for cotton and polyester fabrics. The range features 40 colours for countless designs and can be washed at up to 80°C.
  • NYLCUT has a self-adhesive liner and is perfect for adhesion to nylon. Six colours are available for this product.
  • The self-adhesive liner of BLOCKCUT allows it to be used on sublimated fabrics, softshells and its block-out barrier will allow you to keep the marking in its original colour.
  • Our BRICKCUT film is ideal for adding a 3D raised effect to all your markings. Six colours are available for this product. BRICKCUT is a very thick cutting flex to ensure that your markings are in relief.

Metallic iron-on film: METALCUT

The use of METALCUT for the marking of your customised garments will give you an ultra gloss finish. It will give you a chic, urban style on both cotton and polyester. This gloss metallic-effect polyurethane film is available in 5 colours.

Customised glitter garments: GLITFLEX

Our GLITFLEX cutting flex is a PVC-free film with a 3D glitter appearance. Its finish adds relief to the textile. GLITFLEX remains flexible despite its thickness (330 microns), and it can be applied to all cotton and polyester textiles. It is available in 13 colours.

Iron-on films with special finishes

GLOWCUT and REFLEX are cutting flexes with a photoluminescent finish for the former and a retro-reflective finish for the latter. REFLEX is ideal for Industrial Protective Equipment. Indeed, it meets EN ISO 20471 class 2 standards for signalling garments. It improves safety and visibility, both day and night. As for GLOWCUT, it has the particularity of glowing in the dark after exposure to light.

Cutting flexes open up a world of endless possibilities in the field of customised textile marking. All our films are easy to apply and can thus be used on a wide variety of fabrics.
