{"id":38083,"date":"2022-04-11T10:13:44","date_gmt":"2022-04-11T10:13:44","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.hexis-graphics.com\/?p=38083"},"modified":"2022-04-11T10:13:44","modified_gmt":"2022-04-11T10:13:44","slug":"alpine-and-obvious-a-privileged-alliance-for-a-unique-art-car","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.hexis-graphics.com\/us\/news-us\/alpine-and-obvious-a-privileged-alliance-for-a-unique-art-car\/","title":{"rendered":"Alpine and Obvious: A privileged alliance for a unique art-car"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Alpine supports art in all its guises and is demonstrating this by unveiling an highly distinctive Art-Car at the Art Paris modern and contemporary art fair: an Alpine A110S Sastruga with a design that is the direct result of artificial intelligence.<\/p>\n<p>At the outset of the project, Alpine&#8217;s commitment to supporting artistic creation and exploring new territories.<\/p>\n<p>The HEXIS Group, the French manufacturer of self-adhesive films since 1989, develops innovative self-adhesive films for professionals in the visual communications industry.<\/p>\n<p>Having worked alongside many artists, designers and architects on high profile projects, HEXIS was the supplier of choice for the wrap of this truly unique project.<\/p>\n<h3><strong>DECORATION AND ARTISTIC EXPRESSION: THE EXCELLENCE OF HEXIS MATERIALS IN THE SERVICE OF ART<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p>This art-car boasts an artistic wrap, designed with artificial intelligence and algorithms, which have generated the layout of an imaginary track. The result is a stylised design inspired by the phenomenon of <em>sastrugi<\/em>, undulations created by the erosion of snow by the wind, which trace geometric undulations on the ground.<\/p>\n<style type=\"text\/css\">.imageframe-1 img{border:0px solid #f6f6f6;}<\/style><span style class=\"fusion-imageframe imageframe imageframe-none imageframe-1\"><img fetchpriority=\"high\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"img-responsive aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/www.hexis-graphics.com\/hexisgraphics\/2022\/04\/4.jpg\" alt=\"HEXIS x Alpine x Obvious\" width=\"491\" height=\"327\" \/><\/span>\n<p>&#8220;<em>The expertise of HEXIS in terms of vehicle wraps allowed us to give a physical dimension to our vision for the creation of this work. They allowed us to bring to life a conceptual project around artificial intelligence, data and the alpine context, offering their expertise in terms of production. We are very happy with the result.<\/em>&#8221; &#8211; <strong>Obvious<\/strong> <strong>Collective<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The self-adhesive film chosen for this extensive project is <strong>HX190<\/strong>, a printable 50-micron cast PVC film with structured adhesive.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;It perfectly hugs the shape of the Alpine A110S&#8217;s bodywork, which is full of curves, making the wrap complex. We therefore needed an ultra-conformable product that could adapt to the slightest deformation to be able to carry out this goldsmith&#8217;s work.
